Ultimate Care, Inc. (UCI) was incorporated in March, 1985 in the State of Florida. It is a minority owned company, founded by a woman, Mrs. Fe Arellano Hanvivatpong, a registered nurse by profession and by its co-founder, Mrs. Juliet Palang Gejon, also a registered nurse.
At the start, UCI was established so the two RN"s can do some part time Private Duty Nursing after their regular hospital jobs as Staff Registered Nurses. However, in June, 1987, Mrs. Hanvivatpong , then a headnurse of a health care facility in BocaRaton, Florida was requested by her boss, the administrator to go back the Philippines (her native country) and bring back 2 or 3 Registered Nurses from the Philippines. The trip was successful and she came back with six candidates and these six were processed for U.S. temporary working visas which took only 60 days to process. The success of the first trip of recruitment in the Philippines in 1987, prompted the UCI founder to leave her post as a headnurse and she went full time in the marketing of recruitment of registered nurses to other local hospitals in Florida and specilaizing in foreign trained nurse recruitment. The rest is history, up to 2008, UCI has recruited and placed over 2, 500 medical professionals from all over the world and accross America, 85% are Registered Nurses, the rest are Physical Therapists, Medical Technologists and other allied health care professionals. UCI up to present time (over 20 years) has remained strong in providing Registered Nurses for permanent placement among hospital clients accross America.
